We have an obligation to staff, communities and all who access the outdoors to ensure they can do so safely and without unnecessary risk.

An outdoor sector that is strong and resilient is able to support everyone to access and benefit from outdoor experiences.

A well-prepared outdoor sector will be able to support communities to prepare for, respond to and adapt in the face of climate change.

Preparing now, before the situation gets worse, will reduce the future cost of change, minimise damage and, hopefully avoid loss of life.
