It has been a busy few months!
The Incident Response Workshops National Roadshow was a resounding success, with many sessions booked out, requests for more, and 5 star ratings for the expert presenters – Deb Ajango, Clare Dallat & Sonia Zavesky. Everyone (including me) left the workshops with many ideas for improving risk & incident preparation. The value of face-to-face professional development and collaborative networking was demonstrated in spades! Thanks to all who attended, and industry sponsors Campers Pantry, One Planet and Paddy Pallin . We are planning more workshops for 2024!
NatCORR’s focus is now on other project areas as we build partnerships with those working in the area of disaster resilience that can help support us all. The recent Australian Disaster Resilience Conference was pivotal in expediting connections to further our work.
NatCORR’s priority projects include research, resource development and PD workshops in – Heat Management; access to Weather Information and decision support; Insurance & Financial Management; and Risk Intelligence.
As always, please reach out with advice, information, or requests for assistance. And, keep an eye on the natcorr.org.au website as it rapidly develops as a valuable depository of resources.
